Why is Diabetes Research so Important?

  There are many reasons why diabetes research is so important. For one, diabetes is a devastating disease that affects millions of people around the world. Every year, diabetes causes millions of deaths and untold suffering. In addition, diabetes is a major cause of blindness, amputations, and kidney failure. Diabetes research is therefore vital in order to find new ways to prevent, treat, and ultimately cure diabetes.
